• Introduction
When a person is born, there may already be inherent conditions
from the parents depending on their health at the time of
conception. Any trauma at birth can also add to this picture.
During the first 6 months of life the immune system needs
to be developed. This is aided by the mother's milk. If mother's
milk is not given the immune system of the baby will not develop
as well as it may have.
•
The life cycle of suppression
If the mother passes any form of toxins in her milk from
medication she has taken, this can begin the suppressive effect
on the baby. Initial suppression of the immune system response
is caused by giving inoculations to babies. Any vaccinations
or suppressive medicines given to babies will severely compromise
and suppress the developing immune system.
This may well result in the baby trying to clear the toxic
load by developing bronchitis, tonsilitis or other ailments.
If this is further suppressed with antibiotics a build up
of mucus and toxins will result. As the child grows, it is
likely to come into contact with all the other childhood illnesses
that challenge and develop the immune system such as chicken
pox and measles. It is highly likely these days that many
children will have had the MMR vaccination, thus suppressing
the immune system even more and hindering its development.
As the child continues to grow and possibly be given more
suppressive medicine for any minor infection or condition,
it will eventually be given the BCG as a teenager. This is
the worst time to do this with the hormone changes at puberty,
and can result in serious conditions developing such as anorexia.
Many children and young adults develop asthma these days,
a reaction to the internal and external pollution that has
steadily been increasing since the industrial age. Asthma
symptoms are suppressed with steroids and relievers, further
not allowing the body what it needs - to expel mucus.
Obviously, the amount of suppressive drugs and vaccinations
the average person is exposed to will cause a flora imbalance
in the colon resulting in more inflammation and mucus production.
This could manifest itself as irritable bowel, a very common
complaint nowadays. Bowel imbalance can cause all sorts of
problems from hives to arthritis.
Suppressive medicine used on these and other conditions as
one goes through life will drive the inflammation deeper until
more serious issues start to manifest. Constant inflammation
in the digestive system and subsequent stress on the liver
can result in gall bladder and stomach problems. As internal
toxic load increases and movement is impeded more serious
problems develop i.e. MS and ME, depression and eating disorders.
There are powerful suppressive medicines for these as well.
Once serious problems start to develop due to constant suppression
the body is no longer able to protect the vital organs. This
is when the potential for heart attacks, strokes, and kidney
problems present. Once the body has reached this condition,
the lack of movement and high toxic load cannot be dealt with
by the body so it starts to break down. Of course, more suppressive
medicine can be given to keep the organs "going"
but this will not deal with the root cause of toxicity and
will cause even more damage. The potential to move into the
carcinogenic stage from here is high

Conclusion
Many people with chronic conditions such as asthma, ulcers
or allergies are simply bound to their drugs for an indefinite
period with no hope of ever being free from medication. In
technical terms, the treatment they are receiving is palliative
or suppressive, rather than curative.
A palliative treatment is one that relieves symptoms as long
as the medication is continued but is not intended to address
the underlying cause of the symptoms. A suppressive treatment
is one that blocks the appearance of symptoms, even if they
are part of the body's own immune response. Suppression provides
no hope in the way of cure and quite often provides only a
temporary relief until new symptoms appear to express the
underlying distress or imbalance that has gone unresolved.
Either way the true sign of a medicine's effect can be seen
when stopping it. If symptoms return, it was palliative. If
energy levels and mental clarity decline or new, possibly
deeper, problems appear after a while, then the treatment
was probably suppressive.
All chronic illness, and most acute illness will have a basis
in toxemia. What this means is that maldigestion will be occurring.
This maldigestion, which may not be obvious, will result in
fermentative and putretive reactions in the intestines. These
processes will produce toxins and irritants which will be
absorbed through the intestinal walls into the bloodstream.
The blood will be carrying a higher than normal amount of
metabolic toxins and irritants throughout the body.
This is a major cause of chronic inflammation. This will
especially affect either organs or systems already under stress,
or ones which are genetically or for other reasons, already
weakened. This toxemia is the basis of most arthritis, autoimmune
disease and degenerative diseases. It is also a basis of susceptibility
to acute disease. If not the primary cause, it will be a contributing
cause to chronic disease.
